Architecture, yoga, sound art & hospitality in Heredia, Costa Rica
About Nebulae
A cultural sanctuary designed for connection, creation, and renewal.
Where Architecture Meets Spirit.
Nebulae was born from the vision of creating a place that merges architecture, nature, and the art of inner transformation.
Every detail — from the geometry of the space to the light that enters through its walls — is designed to inspire peace, creativity, and connection.
We are a community of artists, yogis, and dreamers who believe that living well means living consciously.
Our space is built to host retreats, residencies, and creative experiences that resonate beyond the stay — experiences that remain in your memory and spirit.
Designed by Alianz.cr — crafted to awaken the senses.
"Nebulae — A Cultural Sanctuary by Alianz Architecture"
Nebulae is a multicultural center of connection and creation — a space where yoga, architecture, music, and art coexist to elevate human experience.
Located in San Roque de Barva, Costa Rica, Nebulae merges tropical nature with the precision and purity of modern architecture designed by Alianz.cr, creating an atmosphere where mind, body, and spirit expand in harmony.
It is not a resort.
It is not a yoga studio.
It is an ecosystem for transformation — a living architecture that breathes, resonates, and evolves with its visitors.
The Concept
Nebulae was conceived as a frequency, not just a place.
Each architectural line, material, and volume was designed to evoke energy flow and stillness — to balance gravity and light.
The project connects three dimensions of human experience:
The Body — Yoga & Wellness
Spaces for movement, meditation, and breath. The body finds alignment through yoga, healing, and introspection. The Mind — Creativity & Art
Workshops, installations, and art residencies that awaken the creative essence. The architecture acts as a blank canvas for ideas to emerge. The Spirit — Music & Gathering
Nebulae becomes alive through music: curated DJ sets, sound healing, live acts, and cultural events that unite people in vibration and light.
The Architecture
Designed by Alianz.cr Architecture, the space embodies tropical modernism with minimalist geometry, open-air circulation, and materials that reflect both earth and cosmos: concrete, wood, glass, and water.
Natural light becomes a structural element. Air, vegetation, and shadow complete the composition.
— from morning meditations to immersive nighttime events — in seamless dialogue with the landscape.
The Experience
Nebulae offers more than a stay — it offers immersion:

Philosophy
Nebulae believes that architecture can heal.
That space can transform behavior, emotion, and energy.
That music, light, and community can elevate consciousness.
Our mission is to create an atmosphere of beauty, awareness, and connection — a place where people can live, learn, and celebrate in harmony with nature and design.
— .From structure to soul — Nebulae is where matter meets spirit.
